I am going to my 25th High School Reunion on Saturday.  I haven’t seen most of my classmates in 20 years or so.

Comic-Con Report:

I am finally back in Maine.  Comic-Con was so much fun.  I saw so many celebrities.  I only saw a few panels because you had to wait in line for hours to see anything. 

I also decided that Kevin makes me look bad.  He brings his wife breakfast in bed.  He is also a great host who had a barbeque for me on Saturday night.  I had my own room and wireless.

Chong is great time.  He drove me back to Kevin’s house almost every night.

Comic-Con Report:

Yesterday was a day of walking around.  I got to Comic-Con late and I didn’t want to wait in long lines for the panels.  A friend of a friend dressed like Wonder Woman and I got to see the attention a hot girl in costume gets at Comic-Con.  You can’t walk five feet without getting your picture taken.

Lots of people in costume since the Comic-Con Masquerade was that evening.

Comic-Con Report:

I can die now.  I saw Kiefer Sutherland.  What a cool guy!  He was on the 24 panel with Freddie Prinze Jr., Anil Kapoor, Katee Sackhoff, and Mary Lynn Rajskub.

In the evening, I saw some hilarious comedy.  The comedians included Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Doug Benson, and Chris Hardwick.  Lots of jokes about Comic-Con.

I saw Margot Kidder who is with some type of cat-creature.

And Ant-Man.

Comic-Con is still incredibly crowded.  People love the free stuff but don’t seem to be spending lots of money.

I also saw Lex Luthor.

Comic-Con Report:

Edward James Olmos and Candace Kita both seemed excited to see me at Comic-Con.

Why Edward James Olmos?  I was able to get an asteroid (5608 Olmos) named after him.  When I told him that I was the one who did it, he thanked me and I got a free autograph and picture with him.  He even called me Tommy.  A very, very nice guy.

Why Candace Kita?  I run her Facebook page.  She gave me a big hug when I saw her.  I watched her sign autographs and take pictures from the throngs of Comi-Con people.  A very, very nice person.  I also finally her Hottie Help sidekick Douglas Stewart who is very, very funny.

I also got pictures with James Callis and Amber Smith.  Both were very, very pleasant.  I talked with Amber about Dr. Drew since she was in Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and Sober House.

Comic-Con felt like a Saturday today.  So crowded.  I don’t know what Saturday will be like.

Comic-Con Report:

Usually Preview Night was a relatively low-key affair where you could see booths before the weekend crowds appeared.  Preview Night this year was jam-packed and had crowds that rivaled previous Saturdays.  It is going to be one crowded Comic-Con. 

I just walked around and saw what was there to see.  Lots of movie studio and comic book publisher booths.  Not many comic dealers. 

The only exciting thing I did was to film a scene that would be inserted into a fake trailer for the movie Extract.  I will hopefully have the video tomorrow.  A camera guy filmed my reaction before I get hit in the nuts.

I thought that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was pretty good.  My favorite character is Severus Snape.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen made little sense.
